Michael
Ross' New Book on Lunar Development Goes 'From Footprints to
Blueprints.'
Aeronautical and mechanical engineer
Michael Ross of Toronto, Canada brings his uniquely suited dual
capabilities to an in-depth examination of how commercial success
might be found on the lunar surface in his new book, From
Footprints to Blueprints: Development of the Moon, and Private Enterprise.
Ross states, "The book addresses how private enterprise /
entrepreneurs can take advantage of the Moon's unique environment
to create projects that are profit making ventures and which the
book suggests are within the resources and expertise of private
enterprise." Ross takes
the reader through the steps of developing a business plan that
would be acceptable to banks or venture capital. He also addresses
collaboration with public sector interests. Footprints to Blueprints,
while a learning experience, is also an interesting read for the
general space enthusiast. Ross has previously written articles
on lunar utilization and the International Space Station. He runs
M.R. Services and is a Senior Member of the American Institute
of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His book is available now through
his publisher, Authorhouse, as well as Amazon, Barnes & Noble
and Borders. The paperback version is 252 pages. The book is also
available electronically.
